Using yogurt which contains the active cultures of lactobacillus can help keep the normal bacteria from overgrowth as well as help prevent yeast. Once he uses overgrown yogurt is probably not that effective treatment and you should use either one of the over-the-counter or prescription medicines. Then go back to using yogurt is more prevention tool
