Any lump in your body needs examination by your Primary care Physician(PCP). If the lump is easily palpable it will require a biopsy in order to determine the cause/nature of the illness causing the lump. It can be due to an infection but there is a small chance it can be due to cancer of the lymph glands(called Lymphoma).

It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see a doctor. Wish you good health!
