Day 10 +ve covid, currently having very bad cough and make my chest hurt due to hard cough. is it safe to take cloperastine? i took 1 with empty stomach?

Be careful as this product can cause drowsiness. Don't operate machinery or drive for at least 6 hours after taking it. Don't drink alcohol and also follow instructions while taking it. You might want to validate this information with your pharmacist as I have no experience prescribing this medication but I note ,except for the tablet form, it's' considered safe for children.

The underlying cause of your chest pain and cough may be due to COVID 19 infection, cardiac or pulmonary complications from the infection. These include bronchospasm, pneumonia or cardiac disease which has been associated with the infection. Watch for shortness of breath, dizziness and fever. A follow up imaging study and EKG 12 lead may provide additional information. Signs of distress/Emergency.
