Is it possible to get a get a negative pregnancy test at 8 weeks?

It happens. Some women skip menses for a month or so. Urine pregnancy tests are more often falsely negative than falsely positive.

A properly done urine and blood test would not be negative at 8 weeks of pregnancy. HCG levels are at their height at 9-12 week of pregnancy. If you have any concern, you doctor should do an ultrasound examination as a fetus should be visible at 8 weeks of pregnancy. Wish you good health and a healthy baby!
