If pus drained from the pimple it most likely contained staph bacteria. In this case you should sterilize the surrounding skin with rubbing alcohol or antibacterial ointment, apply antibacterial ointment to the cleaned off pimple, cover with a gauze and tape it in place preferably with paper tape. Observe for spreading redness,swelling,pain in which case a physician should examine it & advise you
