For over 20yrs my menstrual cycle has been every 28days exactly. for the last 2mths it has become much heavier, clotty, painful and now ever 10-14days i'm not pregnant, no stis, no meds. what could be the cause?

Period flow can change but you did not mention if you take birth control pills or have an IUD. I would speak with your OB/GYN and get a pelvic and they can possibly see if an ultrasound is warranted
