A member asked:

Proposition 65 warning on my guitar says it may expose me to chemicals including lead that may cause cancer. is this something to be concerned with? thank you?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I consider this prop a silly over reach of the nanny state. Yes chemicals are contained in the now stable coatings used to make the guitar. If you inhaled those chemicals while they were part of a fresh coating it might be an issue. If you consumed those chemicals or painted them on your skin it might. The chance of stable coatings on a finished product harming you approach zero.
