Not really. It might be the other way. People with very severe seborrheic dermatitis were (mostly in the past) treated with oral medications that could be harsh on the liver(oral ketoconazole,methotrexate, fluconazole.) In advanced alcoholism, there is a higher chance of developing Seborrheic dermatitis and it is very frequent in AIDS. Now a days we have good topicals to treat it.
