Stress (emotional, school, work, COVID related) can cause delays in ovulation, which delays menstruation. Overweight, or a disease called polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD) can also cause "skipped" periods. See your gyn physician for testing and an exam to make certain of the diagnosis.
