Had chunks of dark brown discharge last week, and having to urinate a lot. ovarian pain while urinating, but no burning. discharge went away on its own, and im not sexually actively and my period isnt due for two weeks. what could the problem be?

Symptoms suggest a urinary tract infection, and if there was sexual activity in the past, a pelvic infection is possible as well. The "brown discharge" may also represent ovulation from two follicles, where the estrogen levels are higher, and the drop in estrogen just prior to ovulating will cause bleeding. See your gyn physician for an exam and other testing to resolve this.
