Im having a ct scan in 2 weeks for chronic sinus infections, but im also on antibiotics for a sinus infection now. if the medicine clears up the infection will the ct show anything?

If antibiotics clear up the active infection the CT scan may still show thickening of sinus lining and bone from repeated infections .but no fluid or opacification.
