: Ankle swelling can be found after prolong sitting with feet dangling like in long flight, car drive but mostly it is the result of medication, pregnancy or underlying disease. Postural swelling can be managed with elevating feet, cutting back on salt and wearing compression stockings of 25 mm hg. Hope it helps .
