Pregnancy is unusual in anyone from exposure around the time of or during menses but it has been documented. ECP (morning after pills) if taken within the time they specify (often 72 hrs) are a way to decrease risk of pregnancy.

Pregnancy is known to have occured from sex on any and all days of the menstrual cycle. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time.
