If "relatively on time" for the active component of Sprintec is within the same hour that the previous active pill was taken, you might ask your gyn provider about another type of oral bcp or switch to a straight progestin type. If the "relatively on time" is a less punctual dose than previously recommended on occasion, breakthrough bleeding ("pink, tan discharge") can occur.
