These tests are more likely falsely negative than false positive. When the conception mass creates enough hormone to make a test turn positive is is usually true. Wait a few days & test again & do so on a first morning urine for the best sample. You could also have a blood test run to be sure.

If you had sex since your last period, and missed a period, you should get a blood test for HCG level to settle the matter. You may repeat the urine test, use first morning urine and follow the testing instructions carefully. Wish you good health!
