Not necessarily. Regarding breast cancer, when you are ten years younger than the age at which your mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, get a mammogram and get regular checks. Your doctor may advice a mammogram by age 40. Regarding glaucoma, see an ophthalmologist for a baseline evaluation and advice about repeat visits for checking eye pressure. Wish you good health!
