To diagnose hpv warts on tip of tongue i was advised to see a dentist and i did and he said theyre not warts, but someone else told me he wouldnt be able to tell but to see an ent. im so confused i thought the dentist would be able to tell?

What did your dentist advised when ruling out it was not warts? Also who is "someone" you are referring to--is it a non-medical friend witha similar experience, or someone in another medical field, maybe? An ENT is an ear-nose-throat specialist, and if you have the tip-of-tongue area to be examined, likely the next Dr to see is an oral surgeon. If your dentist is unsure, usually you're referred.
