A 68-year-old female asked:
What is the best way to treat adhesions due to multiple abdominal surgeries, it hurts when i eat or move?

Unfortunately, this is difficult to treat. Additional surgery can release adhesions, but the symptoms tend to return or can show up in a different location due to the additional surgery itself. Physical therapy/deep tissue massage can help to loosen the adhesions as well, but the results are sporadic and symptoms may return. Medication can give slight temporary relief before the symptoms return.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
