My husband has a 20% ef, chf class iv, afib (2 unsuccessful cardioversions), diabetes, cardiomyopathy. what is his life expectancy? dr's have said they we are looking at less than a year?

It is always difficult to make predictions with regard to life expectancy. What you describe is a very serious heart problem with a poor outlook. However, there are many things that can be done to keep him comfortable. I assume the possibility of heart transplant has been discussed. Please plan a detailed discussion with your husband’s doctor.
