It is always difficult to make predictions with regard to life expectancy. What you describe is a very serious heart problem with a poor outlook. However, there are many things that can be done to keep him comfortable. I assume the possibility of heart transplant has been discussed. Please plan a detailed discussion with your husband’s doctor.
