A member asked:

I took duloxetine for 3 days. i decided i didnt want to continue and quit taking it. will i feel withdrawal from only taking it three days?

Very unlikely. Withdrawl occurs when your body is used to having a specific medicine in it and then is withdrawn. Being on it only 3 days, your body would not yet be "used to" the medication. That process typically takes 2 weeks or longer. Concerned, though, you stopped med. Was it side effects or something else ? Please discuss with your provider so other treatment options can be explored...

No, this would be unlikely. You should discuss further treatment plans and medication plans with your personal physician.
