That depends on what the doctor ordered and what size package they come in. Check with the ordering doctor. Combination (2-ingredient) birth control pills usually come in 21 or 28 pills per pack. Four of the 21-pill packs is 84 pills (a patient usually takes 21 pills and then no pills for 7 days; then starts a new pack). If a pack is 28 days, one usually takes 28 pills and then starts a new pack.
