I have a serious concern. i left my 2months old son with his grandmother and she gave him a little bit of sugar when he had hiccups. apparently it help to stop hiccups (which i know is nonsense). what are the dangers of this?

The danger is to your relationship which will suffer from the event. The kid is at no risk.
