: Removal of any IUD can of course increase the odds of pregnancy, therefore a "delayed period". Early home pregnancy tests can be false negatives, but increased stress can delay onset of menstruation also. If your period does not occur in 5-7 days, obtain a serum HCG est to be certain about pregnancy.
