A member asked:

Will emotional numbness caused by grief go away on its own?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Life often sends us challenges we do not have the skill set to master. A bad appendix leads most to their doc. Emotional issues often need the aid of specially trained guidance for recovery but many don't consider it. I would find a life coach/therapist to learn skills needed to move through grief. Your doc should know what's available locally.
