Your prescription indicates you are nearsighted, also known as myopia. This means you need the lenses to see distance. You should wear your glasses all the time to avoid eye strain, which can result in headaches, fatigue, blurred vision, etc. When you are doing activities close up, like reading, computer work, etc., periodically look into the distance-this may help prevent worsening the myopia.
