Since the rash is also itchy, it would be characteristic of an allergic contact dermatitis. Can you think of any factors like new cologne, soaps,jewelry,clothing or an insect bite that could have caused an allergic reaction? Take an antihistamine recommended by your pharmacist. Some cause drowsiness. See your physician in not improved.
