A member asked:

Will a cleft chin get deeper and more noticeable as you get older?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Although it will not necessarily happen, many cleft chins do indeed deepen with age—as studies show twice as many cleft chins in those over 35 than under. Since many variables are involved (including muscle tone, subcutaneous fat, skin elastin, and others), it’s possible that you may limit deepening by avoiding stress or handling it better, maintaining lower body fat, taking care with sun, etc.
