Herpes can spread via moist material contaminated with salvia. It is best not to share face masks unless cleaned.

Herpes is spread by touching ,kissing and sexual contact it can be transmitted from one partner to another and one part of the body to another. Brief skin to skin contact is all that is needed to pass a virus but it is not communicated through talking. There is no risk by speaking to a person with herpes .
