First, too much often is made about possible antibiotic interference with hormonal contraceptions. This is really, really rare with any antibiotic. And for sure never a problem with nitrofurantoin (Macrobid). It concentrates in urine, with almost undetectable blood levels. It cannot interfere with contraception. Don't worry about it.
