Do temperature checks really prevent the spread of covid in public spaces?

Alone? No. The best prevention is getting vaccinated as recommended, following lockdown, quarantine & isolation guidelines, social distancing when around others, and double masking anytime you are out and about. Additional protection is provided with gloves & eye protection. Temperature and symptom screening can help minimize spread by identifying infectious people & isolating them.

Great question! To a mild extent but not effectively. Many people with COVID 19 never have a fever.
