Personal physician: Acne on the trunk seldom responds well to topical treatment. Your physician needs to see you and it's likely you'll end up first on a systemic antibiotic such as tetracycline 500 2x/day. If this fails, consider accutane; it is not cheap, pleasant, or without risks, but is likely to be very helpful.
