No fasting..: You do not need to fast for a syphilis blood test. But, your doctor may be ordering other blood tests at the same time so it is important to check with your doctor and find out if they want you to fast. If they are only ordering a syphilis test, you would not need to fast and drinking coffee would be ok. If they do want you to fast, then no coffee. Good luck!
