Ear pain: The type of pain you're describing is not normal. The ear needs to be examined by a doctor. You may need referral to an ENT, ears, nose, throat, specialist.

Possibilities: Pain could directly be due to ear infection or eustachian tube obstruction, but might be secondary to tempero-mandibular joint problem. Does not sound like neuralgia, based upon your description. Have this checked out by appropriate specialists.
