A member asked:

My husband primarily drinks sparkling water, though he will get normal water if we go to a restaurant. is this safe for his main water intake to be sparkling/carbonated water? he likes the fizz which helped him substantially reduce his soda intake?

Sparkling water: The only harm it can do is to the pocket book. But it will have more salt ( sodium) in it so if his blood pressure is high it might get higher if his BP is salt sensitive. Discuss with his team.
