Sperm survival: Sperm to not remain in testis after they are produced unless sperm duct, vas or ejaculatory duct is blocked. Sperm are produced by testes on an ongoing basis from puberty until male menopause (fairly late in life). Sperm can survive in uterus up to 5 days after ejaculation. Can survive much longer within epididymis or vas in case of blockage also can be aspirated & used for invitro fertilization

Indefinitely: Sperm live for months and maybe years before ejaculation. If you're wondering about chance of pregnancy, the time since your partner's last ejaculation makes no difference. You still need to use contraception.
