A member asked:

Is it true that you dont have to take your combination pill (birth control) at the same time everyday?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Basics: The pill works by maintaining a relatively constant hormone level in your system that prevents egg release. No egg=no pregnancy. If that hormone level falls enough an egg could be released=risk of pregnancy. It is best to incorporate pill taking into a similar timed routine daily so it is not forgotten. You do have a few hours wiggle room.
