I have an oval/elliptical shaped lump above/surrounding my belly button that is about 3cm long and just showed up over the last two days. not visible it is under the skin. rubbery but seems moveable. what could this be?

Hernia: It could be a hernia- weak muscles in your abdominal wall that popped due to heavy lifting or coughing or vomiting strenuously. It could also be a cyst. It should be checked but not urgently if it is not increasing in size or hurting.
