My 5-year-old girl had 5% unexplained weight loss over past 3 months (45lbs to 42.8 lbs). her only other complaint is frequent bloating and belly pain when her lower back was patted. what kind of workup is recommended?

Pediatrician: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. Unintended weight loss needs to be evaluated in-person. It would be prudent to see a doctor, preferably a pediatrician. Wish you and your daughter good health!
