Positive CAC: A positive coronary artery calcium score only shows arteriosclerosis involving the walls of the artery but doesn't necessarily demonstrate plaque within the lumen of the coronary arteries ( atherosclerosis): that is complete or incomplete blockage of blood flow in the arteries.
