I have diarrhea pretty regularly, but one time when i i had it, it seemed like it wasn't going to stop. i've never had that much come out in such a short period (about an hour). what could cause that to happen?

Recurrent diarrhea: Have you undergone an evaluation as to the cause of your recurring diarrhea? Irritable.bowel syndrome, gluten intolerance or actual celiac disease and pancreatic insufficiency come to mind. In your case I feel infection or inflammatory bowel disease are less likely causes. It's astounding how much feces are in the intestinal tract. People doing bowel prep for a colonoscopy are amazed. See GI doc
