I have stomach pain that is getting worse. it stared 2 days ago. it feels like there is a blockage where my food is supposed to exit the stomach. i have taken altoscec and asacol 800 but they are not working. my stomach is working but bloated.

Stomach pain: If your discomfort is in the mid upper abdomen, asacol, which is used to treat inflammatory bowel disease, isn't much use. I would stop it. You may have gastritis or a peptic ulcer for which altosec is effective but with full strength dosing. Avoid spicy & greasy food, caffeine,alcohol,aspirin & anti-inflammatory meds like ibuprofen or naproxen. If not improved, see your MD or a gastroenterologist
