I never stopped taking my birth control june 1/20 while taking nitrofurantoin but i finished taking the nitrofurantoin do i take my birth control for 7 days to be protected all over again incase nitrofurantoin cause less effectiveness or am i safe?

BCP's/antibiotics : If you continued your use of "June 1/20" , any effects of diminished protection from the oral bcp's which might increase risks of pregnancy would produce breakthrough bleeding (estrogen withdrawal). If no bleeding has occurred during antibiotic use, continue using oral bcp's punctually and pregnancy protection should not be decreased.
