Hi my girlfriend is on yaz plus. she takes her pill in the morning always. however, she got her pill box late in the afternoon and only took it at night that night and then repeated her routine the next morning. are we still protected from pregnancy?

BCP ?'s: A delay in taking a due oral contraceptive "active" pill of only 12-24 hours will not stop pregnancy protection. Remember, the placebo pills (seven days at the end of the active pills) have no hormones, and pregnancy is prevented even with essentially seven days absent hormone therapy, so a delay for a few hours will not affect contraceptive status.
