Can i pet the dog of a covid patient?

Absolutely: Covid19 has been shown to transmit to species other than human, but dogs are not one of those that have been found to have or carry virus. So feel free to pet away - it's excellent mental health therapy and reduces anxiety.

Covid: It would be advisable to practice precaution. There have been case reports of dogs contracting covid however more data results are needed to see how animals can transmit the disease.
