A member asked:

I have loss of smell that started 4 days ago but no other symptoms- maybe mild fatigue at worst. my wife lost her smell 6 days ago, my wife tested and was negative. my wife also has no major symptoms - do i test for covid?

Yes: depending on the type of test your wife took.there could be a false negative or lab/sampling error. you and your wife should take an PCR COVID test, it probably the most accurate. many COVID infections may have very little symptoms. Good Luck

Stay isolated: The symptoms may represent COVID 19 infection or a sinus infection. Re test and stay isolated, drink fluids, monitor temperature and watch for signs of respiratory distress.
