Every month towards the end of my period,i get brown discharge that smells horrible. i take metrogel to clear it,one applicator once a month. therefore i use it every month but only one applicator. it helps a lot but it it safe?

Vaginal odor ?'s: Vaginal odor is most often caused by bacterial/fungal/parasitic infection. "Metrogel" may help, and is safe, but may not be sufficient to treat some infections. See your gyn physician for an exam and culture and possible further treatment.
