Depends: The amount & duration of any prescription is regulated by state & federal law. Some states are stricter than others. In Texas they have a mandatory pre- dispensing requirement placed on physicians & pharmacists for certain narcotics & other controlled drugs. Some chronic meds like used for high blood pressure may have a 90 day supply limit with refills. Check with your pharmacist or doc.
