Souns like hives: Mosquito bites all over the body, even in the midst of summer, would be unusual. Sounds like he has hives. While most common cause is allergic, they can also be caused by shifts in temperature or for no known reason at all (idiopathic hives). You can treat hives with diphenhydramine (Benadryl) - use dose appropriate for you child's weight. You may need to repeat doses of med over next 24-48 hours
