Not unusual: This is what they call orthostatic hypotension. When you get up quickly, the blood flow to the brain diminishes momentarily and your body needs a little time to adjust to the new position to provide ample blood flow to your brain. You need to try to sit up slowly first and when your are sure there is no dizziness then stand up.
