A member asked:

Is vaginal delievery after hernioplasty possible or not?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Delivery post hernia: Vaginal delivery is certainly possible after hernia repair for incisional , hiatal, and most inguinal (direct or indirect) types. If the "hernia repair" was for uterine prolapse or gyn hernias, a vaginal delivery may recreate the gyn hernia. See your gyn with your medical records from the surgery, for a more specific opinion, depending on where the hernia was fixed.
